The technical team of District Technical Office Solukhumbu, Nepal has completed the survey work of new trekking trail to Mt. Everest from Phaplu through (lower Solukhumbu) Salleri, Deusa, Sotang, Chheskam Muddikharka, Setipokhari valley, Amphulapcha pass, Dhingboche with finding possibility of it's in future. Man Singh Kulung a technical person of District Technical Office Salleri said that there is possibility to develop new trekking way which will be mainly a rescue way for the trekkers who enters in Seto pokhari valley through either Mera La pass (5415 m.), Mingbola pass (5817 m.) Amphulachha pass (5800 m.) or Sherpeni cole pass (6135m.). Trekkers have to reach compulsory in this valley to climb Mt. Barunche, Mt. Makalu (8463 m./5th highest in the world), Mera, Chamlang, Charpate and others more than of 20 mountains. From this valley trekkers have to cross at least one pass of four aforementioned cross to come back. It is therefore, trekkers have to reserve helicopter for rescue if it starts rainy with snowing in this valley and they will not be able to cross. Otherwise there is not possibility to live. The central idea of this trekking trail development is to develop new trekking trail which directly follow the Hungu River to reach either Lamidada airport Khotang or Phaplu airport Solukhumbu or Tumlingtar airport Sngkhuwasabha. In this situation this trail will be a rescue way for trekkers and bridge of economic development for local peoples by selling local organic foods. In the same time trekkers get both mountaineering and cultural trekking after construction of this trail. They will reach Mt. Everest (8848m.) and Mt. Makalu (8463 m.), Mt. Barunche (7129 m) and many more through this way. Due to the lack of budget the construction work to develop this trail is being late.
