Developing new trekking trails in
lower Solukhumb
Kathmandu Feb. 2, 2015: The concern
authorities have started to interest in lower Solukhumbu for Tourism Trail
Development.
Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has
allocated Rs. 3.5 million budget to construct Chheskam Muddi to Setipokhari and
PK peak trekking trail under lower Solukhumbu.
As per authority delegated letter of
Board, this program will be implemented through District Development Committee
Solukhumbu and allocated Rs. 2 million and 1.5 million for Muddi to Setipokhari
and PK peak Trekking trail respectively.
A local NGO Hill Development and
Conservation Group Nepal and Trekking Agent Association of Nepal (TAAN) had jointly
organized a monitoring trip of National Planning Commission authorities in last
June 2014. Similarly Paryatan Abhiyan a half month magazine has been disseminating
