Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has funded Rs. 2
million for the proposed Muddi to Setipokhari Trekking trail
construction by
the government budget of income year 2071/072. This budget will be implemented through
the District Development Committee (DDC) Solukhumbu. Before by the regular government
budget it has already been allocated Rs. 200 thousand for this trail development.
As the technical report of district technical office Salleri Solukhumbu, it is
needed Rs. 5 million budget in total to finish this whole trail construction
excluding needed suspension bridges. It was managed a round monitoring visit of
National Commission Plan secretary Somlal Subedi by helicopter in last summer
and had committed to address this construction through the National plan.
